The cornhole game, sometimes also called by other names such as the beanbag toss, is becoming more and more popular in many areas of the country. In other countries, the pastime is also starting to catch on, because the game is easy to play and many people like it. They are designed to hold up to various types of weather and they can last for many years if they are taken care of. The plastic boards, though, also last a long time. Some people think that plastic is much more durable, but it likely depends on what is being done with the set, how often it is played, and how it is treated in between playings.
Plastic holds up well for cornhole boards, as long as it is not left outside in the sun while it is not being used. Plastic breaks down eventually, and when a person does not take care of what he or she has, it does not last a very long time. For those that buy plastic cornhole boards, these individuals must brings these boards in when they are not using them so that they can be used for years to come. In addition, traditionalists may want to use only the wood cornhole boards because that was the original material that they were made from.

By determining what a person wants his or her cornhole set made out of and other factors, where it will come from can then be decided. Once it has been bought, taking care of it is important.
